 Beth C. Diehl, DNP, NNP-BC, CCRN, LNCC is the owner and general manager of BDS Consultants, LLC. A graduate of Hurley Medical School of Nursing in Flint, Michigan, she completed her B.S.N. at the University of Michigan. Subsequent education included both a M.S. in maternal-child health nursing and a post-master's certificate as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from the University of Maryland. Most recently, she completed a D.N.P from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Her nursing experience encompasses multiple roles and arenas including direct patient care, supervisory positions, educational pursuits, utilization management and special needs child case management.
 She is currently employed full time as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Transport Nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and maintains an independent practice as a health care and legal nurse consultant. She is a strong advocate for the nursing profession incorporating the principles of evidenced based practice in conjunction with contemporaneous standards of care. An author of multiple professional articles and a speaker at national nursing forums, she holds current certifications as a Critical Care Registered Nurse, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Legal Nurse Consultant. As a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and theAmerican Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, Ms. Diehl is well poised to ensure a quality review and critical analysis of medical-legal issues.
